Traditional ink-on-paper design has been my stong suit for several decades. While the advent of the Internet and other forms of electronic documents have dramatically reduced the number of print projects that L2D now does, there are still enough to keep my work load varied and interesting. Click the thumbnail images along the left below to see larger versions of each project.
Real Estate Base Camp Handout
This simple, postcard-sized handout was distributed at several national real estate conventions to acquaint attendees with the training services the firm offers. The firm uses a mountain-climbing metaphor designed to resonate with real estate agents who each strive for their own summit.
WMS Magazine Display Ad
Washington Manufacturing Services specializes in providing on-target consulting services to manufacturers who deal with the many challenges of running a business, obtaining raw materials, producing products and finding markets for them.
Original Log Homes of Washington Mailer
This oversized postcard was created to showcase the dramatic locations and organic shapes of the log homes it builds.
Dunn Lumber Recruiting Brochure
This Seattle-area building materials retailer engaged L2D to produce a series of collateral materials to reinforce a recruiting campaign. This brochure and a companion web site relied on testimonials from current employees to tell the company's story in compelling and heartfelt words. Additional materials included a Spanish-language insert, business card-sized handout, flyer and point of purchase literature display.
Suburban Gardens Business Set
Sometimes the simplest projects can turn out the best such as this business set for a startup landscape design firm. For just a few extra dollars in printing cost, we decided to maximize the visual impact of the business card design by printing on both sides in two different inks. One of the first potential clients that the owner gave a new card to responded by offering her a job on the spot. At that rate, her box of cards should last a long time!
